Auto Mechanics
Christian Women’s Job Corps has a car ministry whereby cars that are donated to the program are in turn given to students who have graduated and need transportation for employment. The interested student fills out an application to receive the car and when vehicles are available, the selection committee awards the auto to the chosen student. We need mechanics that are willing to assess the donated autos and provide repairs as a donation.

Bible Study Teachers
Lead weekly Bible Study which is non–denominational and is based on basic Christian beliefs as outlined in our statement of faith. Requires 1–hour per week.

Computer Teachers
Present Microsoft Word, Excel and basic keyboarding. The computer teacher also helps the student prepare their professional resumé. The computer teacher is a paid position and requires 8 hours weekly in class time. Opportunities also exist for computer teaching assistants. These are volunteer positions and are vitally necessary for assisting the students one–on–one during computer classes.

Doctors, Dentists, Attorneys
Provide basic medical, dental or legal services at a reduced fee or free of charge to program participants.

Fund Raisers/Event Planners
These volunteers assist in fund-raising efforts as well as help in planning special events. Events include volunteer recognitions, luncheons, graduations and other events as necessary. One such event is the Circles Luncheon. This is an annual fund raiser event for CWJC held at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville. Find out more about the Circles Luncheon.

GED Tutors
The volunteers who serve as GED tutors commit to assisting the students obtain their goal of passing the GED exam. The time commitment is about 2 hours per week when classes are in session. The students work at their own pace using established curriculum.

Lunch Providers
The Christian Women’s Job Corps provides lunch each day for the students at the FBC site. We need lunch sponsors for the students on Mondays through Fridays.

Scrapbooking
If you enjoy scrapbooking, CWJC can use your help in putting together a history of our program. We have several pictures of our participants and volunteers and we would like to preserve these memories. The time commitment is flexible according to your schedule.

Teachers
Our teachers present material which includes lessons in literature, values, money management and career. The weekly time commitment is 1–2 hours per week.
